Information We Collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address so we can notify you when Saf becomes available. To keep the waitlist safe and fair for everyone, we also collect: (1) your IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention; (2) a browser fingerprint derived from device and browser characteristics—such as screen size, timezone, platform, hardware concurrency, canvas and WebGL signatures, and language preferences—stored in a secure cookie; and (3) certain non-sensitive HTTP request headers, which we store with your signup for audit and abuse prevention. We use this information only to protect and improve your experience.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate the waitlist and survey. saf_fp stores a hashed browser fingerprint (httpOnly, 1 year) for abuse prevention and to suggest your email on the survey. saf_waitlist_token stores your session after signup (httpOnly, 1 year) so you can access the survey. These cookies are not shared with third parties.

Survey

If you complete our product survey, we collect your email, role, product type, recommendation needs, pain points, data sources, timeline, and any comments you provide. This information helps us understand how to build Saf for you. Survey data is stored securely and used only for product development. We do not share it with third parties.

Waitlist Purpose

The waitlist allows us to gauge interest in Saf and notify early supporters when the product is ready. By joining, you express interest in being among the first to access Saf when it launches.

Data Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Your data is stored securely and accessed only when needed—including to help us detect and prevent misuse so the waitlist stays fair and useful for everyone.

Data Retention

Waitlist entries and survey responses are retained until you request deletion. Rate-limiting data (IP and fingerprint) is kept for 7 days. The fingerprint-to-email mapping used to suggest your email on the survey is kept for 30 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your email address, survey responses, and related data at any time. If you wish to be removed from the waitlist or have your survey data deleted, please contact us and we will process your request promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
